was an exceptional teacher and a wonderful human being. May she rest in peace and may Allah subhanahu-wa-taala grant her Jannatul Ferdous. At only 37, she was a young widow, and mother of three… who found her only solace in the Holy Qur’an. Nothing could help her face the struggles of life except for the words of Allah, and especially the comforting words she found in Suratul-Ankabut, subhanAllah. It is then that she found her true calling and purpose in life. Since then she has not only perfectly memorized the Holy Qur’an, she has been a mother and teacher to hundreds of students around the world. She has made such a great impact on everyone in her path. May Allah swt bless her heart with Jannah, may He grant her eternal peace and comfort, and reward her immensely for her hard work and dedication.

U. Eglal L. U. Eglal is an esteemed Hafiz with Ijaza. Shas been teaching Qur’an for the past 18 years, with the last 4 years dedicated to working online with non-Arabic speakers. Masha’Allah, she holds an Ijaza (Sanad in reciting & teaching Quran) and she is certified from the esteemed Al-Azhar University in Egypt. She has a B.A. degree in English Literature from Cairo university and has worked in translation and teaching, making her a native Arabic speaker who is very fluent in English as well.

Sh. Muhammad has invested the last seven years of his life in teaching Quran, Tajweed, Arabic, and Islamic studies to non-Arabic speakers. He’s a graduate of the highly esteemed Al-Azhar University, where he majored in languages and translation as well as Islamic studies in English. By the age of 11, Sh. Muhammad had already memorized the Holy Quran by heart. He continued to develop his skills in recitation and tajweed and masha’Allah, today he holds 5 “Ijazat”. He has shown exceptional success in dealing with students of different ages by applying different teaching methods, wonderful class management skills, and effective communication techniques.
